Personalization Features on Streamer

While you’re looking for something to watch on Streamer, we’ll recommend shows and movies that we think you might like. Various features let you tell us what you’re most interested in, and what you don’t want to see more of, all so we can get to know you better. The more you watch and use these features, the more personalized your experience will become. 

*These features are only available on devices that support the latest Streamer app. The classic Streamer app has features like Watchlist instead. 

Profiles

If you share your TV with people who don’t have your same TV tastes, Profiles will come in handy. You can create up to six profiles for different people in your family, including the kids.* 

The suggested shows and movies you’ll see on your own profile are largely based on how you use the personalization features that we offer — so your profile will truly be one of a kind. Learn more about adding, editing, deleting, and switching profiles here. 

*Some features are not available on Kids profiles.

Tastepicker

The first time you set up a new profile, you’ll complete a quick onboarding process where you can tell us about the shows, movies, and genres that interest you. You can skip it, but if you do you’ll miss the chance to help us personalize your experience from the start. Occasionally, the Tastepicker may resurface for major live events and tournaments.

My Stuff

My Stuff is your own personalized hub within the Streamer app. Add the shows, movies and episodes that you want to keep track of and have easy access to. For Live TV subscribers, My Stuff is also used to manage your Cloud DVR — learn more about recording Live TV. 

You can remove things from My Stuff at any time if you change your mind and no longer want to watch them. If you have trouble removing a show from My Stuff, there may be individual episodes saved that you’ll need to remove too.

Remove from Watch History

You can view your watch history by navigating to the Keep Watching collection on Home. Use the Remove from Watch History feature to delete specific shows and movies from this section of the app. Learn more about viewing and managing your watch history here.

Like and Dislike

When you Like a show or movie, we’ll do our best to suggest similar content moving forward. This is a great way to tell us about shows and movies you’ve enjoyed in the past, without cluttering up My Stuff with things you’ve already watched. 

On the flip side, when you Dislike something we’ll stop suggesting it areas of the app like Home, Up Next (Autoplay), and You May Also Like. Learn more about using Like and Dislike here.
