f you subscribe to Streamer (No Ads) or Streamer (No Ads) + Live TV, you have access to downloadable content on supported mobile devices.
Downloading content
With the right Streamer plan, you can explore and access downloadable content on supported mobile devices.
To download a movie or episode on Streamer:
- Connect to a Wi-Fi network, or enable cellular downloading
- Go to Search
from the global navigation bar*
- Tap Downloadable from the menu
- Swipe through the various collections to browse
- Select the movie or show you’d like to download
- For movies, press the Download
button from the Details page
- For TV shows, select the Episodes tab to find downloadable episodes. If an episode is available for offline viewing, tap the Download
icon next to it.
- For movies, press the Download
- Go to Downloads
from the global navigation bar to monitor downloads in progress
*If you already know what you’re looking for, you can type in the movie or show into the Search bar. Just keep in mind that download availability varies from title to title.
Using cellular data to download content
When you start downloading videos without a WiFi connection, we’ll notify you and ask if you’d like to use cellular data instead.
iOS
To enable or disable cellular downloading on iOS mobile devices:
- Go to Downloads
from the global navigation bar
- Tap the Settings
icon at the top of the screen
- Toggle Cellular Downloading to On or Off
Android
To enable or disable cellular downloading on Android mobile devices:
- Go to Account
from the global navigation bar
- Tap Settings > Downloads
- Toggle Cellular Downloading to On or Off
Watching downloaded videos offline
When you open Streamer on your supported mobile device, you can watch all of the videos that you’ve downloaded on that specific device, regardless of which Profile* was used to download. Filter your list to view downloads from all profiles or only a specific one.
To access and watch offline downloads:
- Open the Streamer app
- Tap Downloads on the next prompt to view an A-Z list of your downloaded videos
- Select any downloaded movie or episode to start watching offline. Note: Autoplay is disabled when streaming downloads.
Renewing expired downloads
Downloads are temporary, but you may have the option to renew some of your expired downloads.*
To renew downloads:
- Go to Downloads
from the global navigation bar
- Tap the alert
icon next to an expired download
- Tap Renew Download, if available
*You’ll have access to unwatched downloads for 30 days, unless the episode or movie expires from our streaming library before that. Once you start playback, you’ll have 48 hours to finish watching before the download expires.
Deleting your downloads
If you’re running out of storage space, you can delete downloaded videos you’ve already watched to make room for new ones.
To delete downloads:
- Go to Downloads
from the global navigation bar
- Tap Edit at the top of the screen
- Select all videos you’d like to delete
- Tap the Trash
icon
- Confirm your decision by pressing Delete
