Before you can get started with Streamer, you’ll want to make sure that you have the app downloaded on the supported device that you plan to stream from.
The Streamer app may come pre-installed, but if you need to manually download it, select your device from the list below for more detailed information.
Android phone and tablet
Pull out your Android phone or tablet and follow the steps below to download the Streamer app:
- Using your Android mobile device, go to the Google Play Store or tap the icon from your Home screen
- Go to Search and type "Streamer"
- Tap the green Streamer icon
- Tap the Install button, then confirm by tapping OK

Android TV
If the Streamer app was pre-installed on your Android TV, simply log in to start streaming. Otherwise, follow the steps below to download the app:
- Open the Google Play Store
- Search for the Streamer app using the left-side navigation panel
- In the overview section click the Download button
- Once the installation is finished, click Open to launch the app

The Streamer app can be downloaded on a variety of Android TV models, but please note that not all devices using the Android TV operating system will be supported.
Apple TV
If you have a 3rd generation Apple TV model, the Streamer app will be pre-installed by default – just log in to get started. On newer models (4th generation and higher), you can follow the steps below to download the app:
- Open the App Store
- Select Search and enter "Streamer"
- Select the Streamer app
- To begin downloading, select Get and enter the password for your Apple ID, if requested

The Streamer app is available on a variety of Apple TVs — make sure that your model is supported.
